COVID-19: Our Response

In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Journey Counseling remains open for business and eager to help. We’re responding to the crisis by offering new ways for clients to meet with our counselors. For those who wish, face-to-face meetings in the Journey offices will continue, with all necessary precautions and sanitary procedures observed. 

Some of our counselors will offer telehealth sessions through videoconferencing services such as FaceTime, Google Hangout, or Zoom.  The US Department of Health and Human Services has issued a statement allowing telehealth to be done with non-HIPPA compliant platforms and software during this COVID-19 nationwide public health emergency. (You can read this statement here: https://www.hhs.gov/hipaa/)
