Bio

2 Corinthians 4 reminds us not to lose heart in the midst of hardship, but to fix our eyes on what is eternal. This truth has deeply shaped both my personal life and my calling to counseling. I believe counseling is an opportunity to foster growth, healing, and restoration for those who feel hopeless. It is a privilege to sit with someone in their suffering and help them begin to see themselves as God sees them.

Having walked through significant hardships early in life, I have experienced both the weight of pain and the healing power of God working through others. The Lord has used these experiences to draw me closer to Him and to give me a deeper understanding of the struggles people face. This led me to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Christian Counseling and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University.

As a husband and father, I have a deep passion for working with children, teens, families, and couples, while remaining open to supporting anyone seeking care. I believe no one is meant to walk through life’s challenges alone. My desire is to come alongside clients with humility and care, helping them develop the tools, insight, and resilience needed to navigate life’s difficulties.

Throughout my training and career, I have worked in a variety of settings, including as a registered behavior technician, in-home counselor, therapeutic day treatment (TDT) counselor, teacher, outpatient counselor, substance use counselor, lead clinician, and youth minister. These experiences have equipped me to work with a wide range of clients, including children, adolescents, college students, adults, couples, and families.

My approach to counseling is collaborative and grounded in evidence-based practices tailored to each client’s unique needs. I have experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, relationship challenges, boundary setting, substance use, neurodevelopment disorders, and life transitions. I am also certified through the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM), which allows me to assess appropriate levels of care and provide informed support for individuals struggling with substance use.

My own journey has shaped me. Through the Lord’s guidance and the support of others, I have experienced peace, strength, and renewed direction in the midst of life’s storms. It is an honor to walk alongside others as they pursue healing, growth, and hope in Christ.
