Daniel R. Borden, MFTC, LPC
Therapist and Logistics Coordinator
Traveling was always a part of my life. I moved to Zimbabwe at age 7, and then to South Africa at age 12 as my parents were career missionaries. I’ve always enjoyed meeting people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. That was the exiting part of growing up overseas! My childhood was filled with change and ‘home’ changed so much! Together, my many ‘homes’ hold a kaleidoscope of memories, conversations, friends, cultures, and various forms of other things left behind. Read full bio.

Kristin Miller, MAR

She has been married to Michael for 12 years and they have 4 children. She is a member at Crosslink Community Church and a leader in local homeschool groups. Kristin is excited to join Journey as the new Outreach Coordinator, and help connect more churches, organizations, and individuals to this important ministry in our community.

Loretta Pennington
Business Administrator
Since Journey’s start in the Valley, Loretta has been happy to work with the counselors and Board in the mission of clinically-trained and Biblically-based counseling. She deals with the details and the “business” side of Journey. She and her husband, Terry, first met at the book table of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, as students at Virginia Tech. They are blessed to have been involved at Covenant Presbyterian Church for many years. They have three grown children and one rescued “granddog.”
