Please join us as we welcome another new member to the Journey Counseling team, Rachel Eanes. We are looking forward to Rachel’s extensive experience and expertise in working with children and adolescents. She will add to the mission of Journey as we continue to offer Biblical counseling and care to our area.
Rachel received her M.A. in Counseling from Eastern Mennonite University in 2017. Prior to that, Rachel studied social work and began working as a foster care intern, providing case management and other supportive services to children removed by court order from their biological families.
Rachel is skilled and passionate about helping children integrate past experiences as they prepare for adoption, supporting families experiencing the issues related to working with children with various challenges. She has worked with a child trauma counseling program and helped facilitate positive changes in elementary-aged students with behavioral and emotional needs.
